I just had a request to blog my World Fantasy Con panels, but sadly I’m still in NYC, due to Scott being sick and his brow needing mopping. World Fantasy will have to soldier on without us this year.
Anyone know who’s there and blogging?

Scott is ill again? Or still? poor him, hope he gets well soon.
I blame NYC. As soon as we’re back home in Sydney all will be well.
how many months of each year do you spend in sydney, vs. nyc? Is sydney your primary home, or do you have several that feel equally strong? I grew up living in CT through the school year, and on Cape Cod during the summer months. and the Cape is just as much my home, even though sometimes I’m only there for a month or two out of each year…
No question: Sydney is home. Sydney’s where we want to (one day!) buy a house and spend most of our time. Though we’re so used to living in different places I don’t think we’ll ever spend more than 18 months in a row in the one place. There are lots more places in the world I want to live for awhile. I’ve never been to Morrocco, or Turkey, or Laos, or Venezuela, or Brazil . . .
good to know! I’d gotten that impression (love of sydney) from your blog. It is on my top 5 list of places to visit (we-el, in a country on my top 5, at any rate). I hope I get there soon! ^_^
I’ve arrived. I’m online. So are a few other people. Will post a list soonest.
Easy to cheer Scott up. Just look at cricket scores. Is that a rout or what?
Jonathan says Aussie party a huge success.
Kate: Any praise of Sydney is fine by me. I hope you get to visit, too!
Cheryl: Thanks for the tip. Hope you’re having a fabulous time in sunny Madison. We’re both bummed not to be there. Still, we are getting lots of fun, fun, fun packing down. (Well, I am, Scott’s lying about being sick.)
Dunno about Scott, but I’m not cheered up by the cricket (well, except England’s recent ignominious defeat.) I was really hoping it would be a real test, especially after the first day. I would love for the West Indies to become a cricketing power again. Imagine, if there were four or five strong cricketing teams all at the same time. And you never knew who was going to win. How cool would that be?
