Eine Kleine Madness and Magic
All three volumes of the Magic or Madness trilogy will be out in Germany in the next few months. Here’s what they look like:

These may well be my favourites out of all the trilogy’s covers.
Talk about eye-catching! She even looks a little bit like I imagined Reason looking. Though the nose is wrong, the face too narrow, and Reason doesn’t have facial tats or elf ears or blue-black hair and eyes . . . details, details.
Here’s the first page in German:

ooh! they are indeed brilliantly eyecatching. congratulations with those.
though i couldn’t suppress a little motherly horror at the thought that such a lovely girl would do that with her beautiful face.

Shloopy Says:
ooh! very pretty! dontcha think that the tattoo would have some general social awkwardness? (Well, I guess having a crazy mother would be pretty awkward too.)
Should I dye my hair that blue-black color?
Ooh, and speaking of German, has anyone else read The Thirteen and a half lives of captain Bluebear? It’s an amazing book that was originally in German.

These covers are beautiful. So dramatic, and I like that they tried to capture her ethnicity. (After these I like the Brazilian, Taiwanese, and US/Oz covers, in that order; all pretty. Not really loving the Italian or French ones at all.)
The disparity in title translations is amusing me. I like all the titles! (Okay, I can’t actually read the Taiwanese one…)
