Editions
Feb 2009 How To Ditch Your Fairy published by Allen & Unwin in Australia. Allen & Unwin also publish such geniuses as Margo Lanagan, Garth Nix, Penni Russon and Lili Wilkinson. I’m thrilled they now publish me.
How To Ditch Your Fairy will be published by Bertelsmann Jugendbuch Verlag in hardcover in Germany in 2009. This is my first foreign-language sale to take place before the first English-language edition was published. Usually publishers like to see how a book does in its first market before they offer to buy. It’s also my first hardcover publication outside the USA.
Am I excited? Why, yes, I am.
Rights inquiries about How To Ditch Your Fairy should go to my agent, Jill Grinberg.
