Liar Sightings Contest (updated x 4)

Thus far I’ve had a number of reports that Liar is available in some shops in Canada. But so far no sightings in Australia, New Zealand or the United States.

I am offering a prize to the first person to send me photographic evidence of Liar in shops. Either post a link in the comments or send me a jpg here and tell me where the shop was.

I’ll give one prize per country. So the first person from NZ gets a prize as does the first from Australia and the US. And, yes, Canadians can compete because while people have told me they’ve seen the book I’ve seen no photographic evidence and nothing’s real without a photo, right?

Let the contest begin!

Update: We have a Canadian winner.
Update the Second: We have an Australian winner.
Update the Third: We have a USian winner.
Update the Fourth: We have a New Zealand winner.

Isn’t being able to get the book in advance prize enough? I listened to the first chapter of the audiobook, and now I’m even more excited to read it. I haven’t seen it in stores yet, but I’ll be looking!

Daniele: People who think like you are exactly who I want to give prizes to.

I’m with Danielle – I saw Liar in the bookstore today, and I can’t enter the contest, but I certainly will buy it tomorrow. Good enough for me.

I am on strict orders (from the checkbook/debit card) to stay as far away from bookstores as humanly possible because I can’t ever just “look”. 🙂 Otherwise I would be glad to look for the book! 🙂 🙂

Do you know which bookshop (chain?) the Australian copy was found in? I’d really like to find a copy, and so would a few friends of mine – we loved what we heard at the Melbourne Writers Festival!

    Hey Leah

I found Liar in Borders. I’m in Canberra, but it would suprise me greatly if it’s not already in the other capital cities–Canberra tends to be a little slower than Melb and Syd.

    🙂

It wasn’t in the Melbourne Central Borders last Saturday, but I’ll make sure I go again this weekend – thanks for letting me know! 😀 And well done on finding it first!
