Zombies vs. Unicorns

![]()
Zombies versus Unicorns is my first all-fiction anthology. It is published in the USA by Simon & Schuster and in Australia by Allen & Unwin. It is available as an ebook and as an audio book.
Zombies v Unicorn came about because Holly Black and I had an argument about their relative merits that somehow got so out of control we were compelled to turn it into a book.
The end result is a fine anthology edited by Holly and myself in which strong arguments are made for both sides in the form of short stories. Half of the stories portray the strengths–for good and evil–of unicorns and half show the good (and really, really bad-ass) side of zombies. Contributors include many bestselling teen authors, including Libba Bray, Meg Cabot, Cassandra Clare, Maureen Johnson, and Scott Westerfeld. This anthology will have everyone asking: Team Zombie or Team Unicorn? And deciding Team Unicorn, of course.
And wishing more unicorns wind up like the ones in this video:
- Zombies vs. Unicorns
- Liar
- How to Ditch Your Fairy
- Magic or Madness Trilogy
- Daughters of Earth
- The Battle of the Sexes in Science Fiction
- Writing Goals Reduxing the Redux

My goals are not stuff like Become NYT Bestselling Author or Win Nobel Prize. ((Though I am not against those happening …
