Yes, the address listed for the Seattle Public Library is actually the address for the Mukilteo Library. That’s excellent! I didn’t think anyone ever came here. The kids will love it (but I’ll probably have to try and see you at the UBookstore instead ).

I hope to make it to the Third Place Books reading in Seattle, WA on October 20. It’s a great bookstore. I tell stories there on a regular basis, so I may be biased, but still! The booksellers are warm, enthusiastic and committed to being supportive of authors and readers.

I am so jealous of the Austin Teen Book Festival. What’s worse, I MIGHT even be there the weekend before. I will miss it by DAYS. Gah. (I know, I know, it’s NYC, but I get a bit homesick sometimes.)

I am sort of ridiculously excited for the Austin Teen Book Festival. It’s really nice to be living somewhere where THINGS ACTUALLY HAPPEN. I mean, rural America is a-okay awesome in a lot of ways in my book, but Austin has concerts, and lectures, and apparently awesome authors who I enjoy stopping by. Yay!
