Hahahahah!!
I’ve been reading and adoring XKCD for a while now (thank you, Scott for first introducing me) but this one—this is the best one EVER—totally made my day:
Hahahaahahahh!!

Bill Says:
An added bonus with XKCD is you get commentary if you mouse-over the strip (which didn’t come through in the embed for some reason).
This one says: If you think this is too hard on literary criticism, read the Wikipedia article on deconstruction.
Which is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deconstruction
And on a fan-boy note: I made one of my favorite writers happy today… squee!

I love xkcd so very much, and I’ll agree that this one is particularly brilliant. Sadly true, but so brilliant.

So true, so true.
(My genre fiction class kept threatening a rumble with the lit crit class down the hall. Our teacher made us write three paragraphs on our themes, then bade us to crumple them up and never show anybody.)
