Thank you
Thanks so much for all the many cheer ups. You all made my day much brighter.
Special thanks to Patrick for this:

I laughed and laughed.
I’m off to niece Renee’s graduation. All hail education and Renee!
Afterwards we go on a mini-writer’s retreat. I’m not sure what the intramanets will be like in our bunker but if I can blog I will and if not I’ll be back next Friday.
Enjoy whatever your heart is set on right now and try to avoid crazy writers!1

Wow! I am goodlooking! I think that really captures the essence of HTDYF. Your Publisher may want to switch covers now.
It’s really hard to believe that I haven’t been on a cover yet. I’m not some one trick pony like Fabio. I’m a dynamic model.
BTW- I tried really hard to make your name bigger.

So, there are headless boys out there too. Maybe, the publisher could do dueling covers like the upcoming John Green. Enjoy your retreat.

A retreat for mini writers? Is there are ‘you must be shorter than this’ sign at the entrance, like a ride at the Easter Show?

Hi! I was reading the lastest issue of CosmoGirl magazine, and this month they had a brief feature about a dream job as a writer.
They quoted you in that section!!
Under words of wisdom, “the surest path to publication is to keep writing… then keep submitting. It helps if you’re talented too!” –Justine Larbalestier, Award-winning Teen Book Author. (pg. 101)
I think I remember reading that from an old blog entry here; anyway, congrats on getting quoted!
