Things I REALLY don’t like
You know what’s wrong with contemporary fantasy of any flavour?
Not enough Elvis.
What’s up with that?
Also they should all be set in Bolzano, Dapto, Enugu or Guayaquil.
On your bikes. Except for Alan, of course.

Nutti Says:
Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse mystery/fantasy series by Charlaine Harris? They are adult mystery/fantasy with vampires and other creatures as well as Elvis. The first book in the series is “Dead Until Dark.” If you haven’t, they are worth a look.

Jackie M.: Of course. Many many people do. Like you and David. I was just using the excuse to link to Alan’s brilliant piece one more time.

Alan isn’t allowed to ride bikes or Alan writes books with enough Elvis in Bolzano, Dapto, Enugu and Guayaquil?
I’m easily confused.

Jackie M. Says:
Nah. David (and Jeremy T.) just snarked from the sidelines. Amusingly, true! But I see neither genius satire nor any great concentration of Elvisness coming from them.
And me, man. I just sat in the gallery and ate the peanuts.

8. Justine Says:
Patrick: Follow the links.
Jackie: David is always thinking of Elvis. also eating peanuts is a giant contribution. Elvis loved peanuts.
