The great photo quest continues
The reason for which are posted most indiscreetly on Scott’s blog.
I’d just like to share with you my favourite photo so far:

Kevin Dunn (science guest of honour) plus me and me old man at High Voltage Confusion in Detroit.
Why pirate hats you ask? If I told you I’d have to kill you.
And, yes, if you have any other photos of us we’d love to see ‘em.
Thank you so much everyone for all the photos you’ve pointed us to. We REALLY appreciate it!

Actually, the real reason is that someone accused them of being the same person, magically switching gender and hair follicles every so often, and they want to get pictures of both of them to prove it’s not so.
I get you people the scoop.

You’re welcome.
I knew Internet piracy was a problem, but I hadn’t known it ran that deep until I went to Confusion! Aargh!

Yep, I noticed that Scott explained on his blog. Ah well. All the excitement of the mystery is gone. Haha.
Love that picture so much. I bet it has to do with Maureen Johnson.

This seems an appropriate opportunity to tell you how much I and all the crew enjoyed meeting you folks.
The hat suits you well!

Hugh57: Photo is funny.
Joe, the Pirate Captain: Fabulous meeting all of you. Thanks for the hat and the t-shirt! My life is a lot sadder without pirates showing up and offering rum.

To be completely honest, it’s a little disappointing to understand the context of that picture.
