M!M!M!O!O!O!
Magic! Magic! Magic! Oi! Oi! Oi! has a name and a cover:

Which means my trilogy is pretty much complete. Here’s how all three covers look together:

Little Willow Says:
Ooh! Shiny! I like it. A touch of the first cover (Reason’s silhouette) but with more colour, which in turn gives it more life, light, and vibrance. Nod to the butterflies and nod to the fitting title with its double meaning.
My cat Holly just typed:
iii
I kid you not.
Does this mean I’ll stop thinking of Magic! Magic! Magic! Oi! Oi! Oi! when the punky Chunky Chips Ahoy! commercial airs on television? Probably not.

Wow, beautiful–and the name is so logical in retrospect.

Nice! And butterflies!

John H Says:
very nice cover. i like the little flash of light on the tip of the ‘g’ in magic.
little willow: magic’s silhouette is also floating in the tree on magic lessons, so that image really ties all three books together…

Diana Says:
Well, you know how much I love that title. And I really like the colors on the cover. The butterflies, though, for someone who may be new to the series, just has a touch of magic pink fairy learns ballet to it. I was hoping for something a tad darker.

marrije Says:
ooh, great title. i actually got that ‘oh yes, exactly right’-tingle, so as far as I’m concerned it’s the perfect title.
unlike diana, i’m very pleased with the lightness of the butterflies (though i see your point of magic pink fairy learns ballet, diana
). i fear the dark of this book (while looking forward to it immensely, of course), anything that tells me things might be alright in the end after all is okay with me. though now i fear even more there will be people floating off to heaven…
and i will miss you talking about m!m!m!o!o!o!, justine. i’ve grown rather attached to it

*enchanting*. even if i had never heard of you or your books before and i saw that book in a bookstore, i would *absolutely* pick it up. i have to reserve my “oh, it’s prefect” judgement, though, since i haven’t read magic lessons yet. it’s quite literally zooming toward my house, however…amazon shipped it yesterday.
so..in a few days it will be read. yay!!
p.s. maybe now you could encourage scott to show us what the last days is going to look like, and then everyone will be *perfectly* content. hee hee

Rebecca Says:
beautiful! it’s great! wow! when does it come out?
“magic pink fairy learns ballet”
ever since i started reading scott’s blog, pink fairies have been popping up all over the place. what is going on?
and again: wow. the cover is fantastic. the title too. eee! excitement!

them is some gorgeous covers Justine. The only thing better than seeing them all lined up in your posting will be seeing them all lined up on a shelf in the bookstore (just before they fly out the door). Congrats and hurrah!

Damn. I thought Magic! Magic! Magic! Oi! Oi! Oi! *was* the title.
I think this is better, in terms of marketing, but my inner geek is just a wee bit disappointed.

did i call her magic? what was i thinking – i meant reason, of course…

Wow, those are all beautiful. I like Magic lessons best, though, because of the tree.

I also loves it! You’re a lucky lady to have such fine covers as this.
June 13th, 2006 at 1:12 pm
Darice Says:
The cheeriness of the butterflies and lights and clouds makes me fear VERY MUCH for Reason and her friends… It’s bright and cheery, so something must be wrong!
I like it; it looks really lovely. And now I’m even more eager to read it.
