French Title of Magic or Madness
It seems that the direct translation of Magic or Madness is less than euphonious in French, so my publishers there, Editions du Panama, have opted for a new title for both the series and the first book. The series title will be:
AU-DELA DE LA PORTE (BEYOND THE DOOR)
and Book 1 will be:
DANS LES GRIFFES DE LA SORCIERE (IN THE WITCH’S CLAWS)
Interesting, eh?

Roger Says:
que magnifique!
Sri Lanka were a touch better than Australia in the most recent ODI, were they not? End of an empire, end of an empire . . . .

Do you say “interesting” like my mom does, as a euphemism for “wtf?”
Because i love love love those titles.

Roger: Jayasuriya is a god!
Diana: I do say it that way, but not on this occasion. I was just too brain fried from writing 24/7 to come up with a better word.
I love IN THE WITCH’S CLAWS! I’m not sure about Beyond the Door cause I keep getting the song “Beyond the Green Door” going through my head, but hey it isn’t “Beyond the Door” it’s “AU-DELA DE LA PORTE” which I’m sure sounds dead classy when someone French says it.
Editions du Panama were really lovely about consulting me about the title change. But given that my French is non-existent, I thought it best to leave it to them. And I reckon they did an ace job.
