ron Says:

(as opposed to bsp!)
but how could i resist?

Barry Says:
Exacly how much DID you drink last night? ;^)
Great to see you, and thanks for the enthusiastic words to Libba; she’s rather nervous about the new book, and you made her feel pretty good.

3. Justine Says:
Ron: I don’t understand! I know I’m being dreadfully dim, but you’ll have to explain. Bpp? Bsp? Huh?
Barry: [pulls herself up indignantly] My dear boy, I am Australian and we are well known teetotallers. How could you imply such a thing? Not a drop of the devil’s liquors passed my lips.
Libba’s new book is much better than the first one. Anyone who says it ain’t is a fool! Hmphf.

4. Justine Says:
In case people other than me were ignorant and wondering it turns out that bpp means “blatant personal promotion” and bsp therefore means “blatant spousal promotion”. I plead guilty to both!
