		<description>Very enjoyable musing!  (BTW I love how weird the noun &quot;musing&quot; is in the singular like that--it&#039;s kind of a great coinage.)  I have seen some truly fulsome acknowledgments over the years, but unfortunately haven&#039;t kept a collection.  I will add one further use of acknowledgments--I found my genius agent by reading the acknowledgments of books I loved (and doing follow-up with Amazon&#039;s &quot;search within the book,&quot; and reading less well-known books by other clients of hers to see whether I thought it would be a good fit) to see who they thanked.</description>
