A New Musing
Tingle Alley’s posts and comments on acknowledgements got me all inspired and I wrote a new musing about it. Enjoy and feel free to comment on it here.

Jenny D Says:
Very enjoyable musing! (BTW I love how weird the noun “musing” is in the singular like that–it’s kind of a great coinage.) I have seen some truly fulsome acknowledgments over the years, but unfortunately haven’t kept a collection. I will add one further use of acknowledgments–I found my genius agent by reading the acknowledgments of books I loved (and doing follow-up with Amazon’s “search within the book,” and reading less well-known books by other clients of hers to see whether I thought it would be a good fit) to see who they thanked.

Jenny D: glad you liked it. Yup, acks are all kinds of useful. I too have used them to figure out who represents who—especially useful during my current agent search.
